Community Standards and Guidelines

1. Use WhatDish for its intended purpose

Use WhatDish to turn photographs of prepared dishes, ingredients, or refrigerator contents into recipe ideas; save and organize recipes; follow cooking steps; and share recipes appropriately. Do not use the Service to facilitate unlawful activity, deceive others, operate an unauthorized commercial recipe-generation service, train or benchmark a competing system, or create unreasonable technical or financial burdens for the Service.

2. Prevent harm

Do not upload, generate, save, or share content that promotes violence, self-harm, human exploitation, abuse, grooming, sextortion, child sexual abuse or exploitation, or dangerous misuse of kitchen tools, appliances, fire, chemicals, or food. This rule applies whether content is real, fictional, altered, or AI-generated. Never use a generated recipe as a substitute for appropriate food-safety judgment, allergy precautions, adult supervision, or professional medical advice.

3. Keep images appropriate

Submit only photographs that are relevant to a dish, food, ingredients, or a recipe request. Do not upload nudity, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, private documents, payment information, government identifiers, or images captured where photography is prohibited. Avoid including identifiable people, especially minors, unless you have appropriate permission and their appearance is incidental to a legitimate food image.

4. Respect intellectual property

Upload only photographs and other content that you created, are authorized to use, or may lawfully use. A photograph from a cookbook, menu, website, social-media account, restaurant, chef, photographer, or brand may be protected even if it is publicly visible. Do not remove ownership notices, misuse trademarks, or present an AI-generated recipe as an authentic, confidential, endorsed, or exact recipe of a chef, restaurant, company, or other person.

5. Protect privacy and confidential information

Do not disclose another person's address, telephone number, email address, account credentials, health information, private communications, precise location, or other personal information without authorization. Remember that photographs may contain metadata and background details. Before uploading or sharing an image or recipe link, check that it does not reveal information you or someone else wishes to keep private.

6. Share responsibly and communicate respectfully

Recipe links may be forwarded, copied, or viewed by anyone who receives them. Share only content you are comfortable making available to those recipients. If WhatDish provides ratings, comments, feedback, or other communication features, use them for respectful culinary discussion. Threats, harassment, bullying, humiliation, hate, discriminatory abuse, impersonation, spam, or deliberately hostile and degrading comments are prohibited. Differences in taste, culture, religion, diet, and culinary tradition must be treated respectfully.

7. Do not misrepresent AI output

WhatDish generates an interpretation inspired by visible information in a photograph. It does not verify the original recipe, every ingredient, allergens, nutrition, authenticity, religious-diet compliance, cooking temperature, or food-safety method. Do not represent generated content as guaranteed accurate or safe. Review every recipe, correct errors, disclose AI assistance where appropriate, and verify ingredients and preparation methods before cooking, publishing, selling, or sharing the result.

8. Use promotional and subscription access fairly

Eligible users may receive promotional Free Snaps under offers shown in WhatDish. You may receive additional Free Snaps when an invited friend signs up through a supported referral method, subject to the eligibility and limits disclosed in the app. Do not create multiple accounts, refer yourself, or manipulate devices, identifiers, payment systems, referrals, or promotions to obtain additional Free Snaps or subscription benefits. Do not share, sell, transfer, or automate access to an account. Paid subscriptions remain subject to their disclosed Snap allowances, reasonable usage and rate limits, and anti-abuse controls. Attempts to bypass those controls are prohibited.

9. Comply with the law

Follow all applicable laws, regulations, app-store rules, and contractual obligations, including those relating to privacy, intellectual property, consumer protection, food preparation and sale, advertising, exports, and online safety. Users who publish or commercially use a recipe remain responsible for required permissions, labels, disclosures, and regulatory compliance.

10. Reporting and enforcement

If you encounter content or conduct that may violate these Standards, report it through any reporting feature available in the Service or contact info@kco.ai with enough information for us to review the concern. We may reject a request, restrict sharing, remove content, restore or deny promotional usage, apply rate limits, temporarily suspend access, or permanently deactivate an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these Standards, the WhatDish Terms and Conditions, or applicable law. We may consider context, severity, repetition, risk, and the user's response. Where appropriate, we may give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Changes to these Standards

We may update these Standards to reflect changes in WhatDish, technology, law, safety practices, or patterns of misuse. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, by email, or by another appropriate method, unless earlier implementation is necessary for legal, security, safety, or abuse-prevention reasons. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
